We would like to thank Ms. Kate for inviting us to a special assembly on Wednesday morning. The poet and rap artist Donavan Christopher recited some of the poems and we were really impressed by his performance.

We sang along and joined in clapping some poems based on the popular tune of Twinkle twinkle little star, Three blind mice and Humpty Dumpty had a fall. Some of us got a chance to play musical instruments to beat of the poems

We were really inspired by Donavan's exuberant style as we enthusiastically clapped and danced with our friends from other classes.
It was fun see our teachers join in the fun. What an inspiring way to learn poetry!!
