Eggs

Five boxes of eggs with each containing 10 eggs. That makes 50 eggs.
So many eggs to count . Where do the eggs come from?
What can we do with them? Of course we can make cake , cookies and pancakes. We decided to cook the eggs in different ways and see how it changed. Egg cookery is indeed lot of fun, specially when we get to break the shell and beat the eggs.

How many minutes it takes to boil an egg? We cooked soft boiled and hard boiled eggs.
It took 10 minutes to cook a hard boiled egg and 2 minutes for soft boil.

We also cooked the scrambled eggs. We tasted all the three and made a note in our food book, as to which kind we liked best.

We enjoyed breaking the eggs into the bowl and then mixing it with an egg beater to make it fluffy and creamy. Then a pinch of salt was added and it was cooked the scrambled way.You can see some of us were really confident to beat the eggs.

We enjoyed the funny book about The Green Eggs and Ham.

We coloured some eggs using vegetable dyes and used special pencils to decorate them. It requires lots of skill to handle the eggs and decorate them. We gently put these decorated eggs in special baskets we made...Then eggs were ready to go home It has been a week full of eggs and we learned a lot about eggs too.

Of course there are lots of chocolate eggs too to be enjoyed at Easter time !!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!!
