Fruits

What a lovely basket filled with delicious fruits. Who would not be tempted to taste these fruits?

We read the interesting story about Handa who carries a basket laden with fruits for her friend Akeyo . As she walks to her friend's village the fruits get stolen by the animals on her way. However, before tasting fruits from our basket we decided to use our brushes and paints. Ms. Rose showed us how to use a wooden stick to scratch the paints and mix the colours. This made the fruits look almost real, spiky and bumpy.

We used different shades of blue chalks to make a background and then we painted the fruits we saw in the basket. We were engrossed in painting fruits and the results were impressive !!
