Onigiri

Kosei's Mum showed us how to make onigiri ( Japanese rice balls) popular snack and picnic food.
Freshly made sweet smelling and sticky rice ( still warm) was put on a square plastic wrap and then shaped into a triangular or round onigiri. We enjoyed the feel of warm rice while squeezing and working with both our hands to form a round ball.

A piece of sea weed ( nori) was wrapped around the rice ball and it was ready to be eaten.

Each one of made two onigiri and enjoyed it as our morning snack .

Thank you Ms. Ayumi !!!!!

Thanks for the lovely treat. We enjoyed making rice balls and were all gone so quickly....in our tummy
