Sounds Fun

Our new unit of inquiry is all about expressing ideas and presenting our stories.

Sounds fun, comes under organizing theme, “How we express ourselves”. This has been ongoing throughout the year with special focus during various celebrations that we have in our class .
We have been experimenting and discovering different ways in which one can communicate and use dance, music, drama, poetry, different folk arts and puppets as medium of expression.

What can we learn from these expressions ?
This experience will certainly help to enrich and develop our creativity and appreciation and understanding of different cultural and artistic expressions, folk art, music and drama.

Here are glimpses of plays we performed for our friends and had so much fun...No wonder the unit is named Sounds fun...You are welcome to contribute and bring in your perspective...there are more than one ways of expressing oneself....This is the time for bringing out the hidden talents......

These are the monsters of all shades and colours inspired by the story ...... Where the Wild Things Are

We made these monsters...green, red and blue with crazy eyes, crooked nose and sharp teeth....

You are welcome to see them...they are scary indeed!!!
